The Opportunity

Has arisen for a Manager or Director to join their Risk Division in the area of IT Audit. This area of their business has grown from strength to strength over recent times resulting in a significant increase in their team size. This division is founded upon the principal of providing value adding insight to improve effectiveness across processes, technology and people by proactively and pragmatically managing and responding to the risks of information technology within organisations.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Executing projects that assist in identifying and minimising IT operational risks to clients;
  • Executing IT controls support to external audit engagements;
  • Assist in bid and product development;
  • Coaching staff, building internal networks and developing client relationships; and
  • Direct the planning, scoping and delivering of IT engagements (application controls, project assurance, IT disaster recovery, infrastructure assessment, security assessments)

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with clients to improve their risk profile across business, finance and technology processes by identifying, quantifying and managing risks associated with their businesses. In addition, you will:

  • Possess the ability to clearly present technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications and be CAor CPA qualified;
  • Have CISA/CIA or ITIL (or equivalent) qualifications;
  • Have significant experience in utilising CAATTs to automate and/or simplify audit processes.
