The Role: Working as a Commercial Settlements Officer you will work in a team environment supporting Internal Account Managers and Business Development Managers. You will perform all aspects of a documents and settlements role including data entry, preparation of loan documents, settlements, payments of contracts and ensuring that contracts meet all company policy requirements and approvals prior to funding.

You could imagine performing the following:

  • Documentation and settlements of Asset Purchase, Lease, Rental, Chattel Mortgages
  • Quality control of all documents prior to release
  • Ensuring timely settlements
  • Liaising with suppliers and sales consultants
  • Reconciliation of the amount of funding to the amount financed
  • Completing credit checks

To be considered for this position:

  • Ideally but not essential, you would hold territory qualifications
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years within a similar position
  • Ability to think outside the square
  • Ability to prioritise and work without direct supervision
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to employment
  • Exceptional communication skills
