The success to any recruitment process will depend on how well we know you and your business. So if time permits, your Account Manager will come out to visit you on site to gain a better understanding of your needs, business requirements and overall company culture. It is also important at this time to have a detailed Job Description ready so that your Account Manager can have a checklist to take away.
There will be an immediate data base search to see if there are any current suitable candidates for the position. This way, we will avoid any unnecessary advertising costs to you. # FREE Advertising - If there are no suitable candidates on the database, advertisements will be posted on the Internet on seek.com and my career, the two leading job boards at present and our personal website free of charge to our clients.
From our understanding of your requirement, we will compile a short list of top candidates to send over to you. Prior to resumes sent, our consultants would have conducted an initial screening telephone interview, face to face interview, appropriate skills testing and at least one reference check.
Once you have seen a resume that you like, please contact your Account Manager ASAP to set up an interview time to meet with the candidate. In this tight candidate market, you will need to act quickly or one of your competitors might just snap up your candidate! After interviewing the candidate/s, it is vital that you give as much feedback as possible to your Account Manager. Even if the candidate was not suitable, the candidates will appreciate your honest feedback, this will also ensure a better understanding of your needs by your Account Manager. Your Account Manager will also give you the candidate's own feedback and thoughts on the interview.
So you have found the perfect candidate! What next? Please contact your Account Manager for the candidate's supporting reference checks, read them carefully..then MAKE AN OFFER! At this point, your Account Manager will email or fax over to you our "AGENT'S AUTHORITY FORM", you will need to sign this and return to us asap. This is to ensure that we have your authority to make an offer to the candidate on your behalf. Once the candidate has accepted your offer, we will negotiate a suitable commencement date and will then notify you.
A vital part of our recruitment methodology is our after placement care process. We do not believe in a "bums on seats" philosophy, so we will take the time to follow up with you and our candidate to monitor their settling in period right through to the end of probation. This will give you the insight on how the new employee is feeling and bring to light any issues that need to be raised and attended to.
